There is a future where our global population is fed, healthy, and living within our planetary boundaries.
This future is dependent on the food choices we make today. Choices that answer:
what should we grow here, how do we farm, what do we cook, how do we plate, package, distribute, and dispose of our food?

It may be hard to see through the aisles of preservative laden, plastic-packaged, homogeneous grain food products; but an authentic, regenerative food movement is present and growing. And goodness, it’s delicious.

The Reggys community exudes hope for the future of food. By putting the spotlight on people who are actively using regenerative methods in their businesses, we can inspire others to join - be that in their home kitchen, by advocating for regenerative practices at work and school, or by building and continuing a career, growing the movement.

Evaluation Criteria

Evaluation criteria include

Nutritional value and human health:
how does the product or service benefit human nutrition, nutritional density, provide proven disease preventing interventions, or medicinal benefits?

Ecological impact:
How is the product or service beneficial to the ecosystem? Which ecosystem services are provided by the product or service? How is it measured?

Economic impact:
What are the current or likely opportunities afforded by the product or service? Who benefits? Are the needs and offerings of underserved communities taken into account?

Systemic approach:
Is the product or service addressing 2 or more aspects of regenerative eating?

Innovation / disruption:
Is the product/service a leap frogging innovation, technique, or technology? Is the scale of impact significant?

Market readiness:
Is the market primed for the adoption of the product / service? How are the branded or unbranded communication efforts contributing to the broader movement building?

Judging Committees

All submitted nominations will be reviewed by the committee pertaining to their category.

Each committee is formed by 3-5 experts in the specific field curated by Delicious Future.
Contact us here if you want to be considered for a Committee. Submission does not guarantee participation, committee members will receive a formal invitation to the Committee related to their specific field of expertise.

Sponsors are not authorized to participate in any committees or to define any judging criteria.

Each Category May Have More Than 1 Winner

In each category, the Committee may recognize multiple leaders who each represent a unique way to address regenerative eating. In fact, we are not calling our Awardees “winners” (because that would imply that others are losers).
Instead, Awardees become Ambassadors of the regenerative food movement for the following year.

People's Choice Awards

The Reggy Awards’s People’s Choice will be determined via voting by Awards ceremony participants. The winner(s) will be announced with all other Reggy Awardees at the ceremony.

Rules and Eligibility

The Reggy Award is open to all organizations and individuals involved in the shift to a regenerative food system, with a direct impact on the awareness, access, and availability of regenerative products for the individual eater. Entries do not, however, need to be restricted to direct-to-consumer products, as we believe that actors from throughout the entire food ecosystem will and must be involved.

There is no limit to the number of entries you may submit or the number of categories you may enter, as long as they accurately reflect your work and impact.

Falsified Work

Entries that are fake or falsified in any way, or work that is computer-generated, or entries that misrepresent the actual project will not be eligible for judging or awards.

Disqualifications

Ineligible entries may be disqualified at any phase of the competition without notification.

Acknowledgement of Entries

Entrants will receive an email acknowledgment when an entry has been received.

Terms and Conditions of Entry/Usage

Submission of any entry (including video and social media assets entries) acknowledges the right of The Reggy Awards to use it for exhibition, promotion and publication purposes in any medium.

If an entry receives an award, the manner and details of announcing that nomination and award is strictly within the discretion of The Reggyy Awards. The entrant understands that all awards may not be given or publicized in the same manner and some might be presented in a ceremony and others might not.
